Privacy policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is Como Private Driver S.r.l., registered office at Via Campagna 11, 22100 Como (CO), Italy, VAT and tax code 04293140135. For any privacy question, email comoprivatedriver@gmail.com or call +39 342 033 0462.

2. What data we collect

  • Quote form: name, email, phone and the trip details you choose to give (date, time, places, number of passengers and suitcases, tour of interest, notes). When you press “Send request” these details are sent to Web3Forms, which forwards them to our email.
  • Direct contact: the details you send us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
  • Booking and service: the details needed to carry out the service, such as flight number or passenger names, and those needed for invoicing.
  • Technical browsing data: the company hosting the website automatically records technical data (for example IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) for security and to run the service.

We do not collect special categories of data (such as health data), except what you tell us for your trip, such as a child seat or assistance; in that case we use it only to organise the service.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer your requests and prepare a quote: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) of EU Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”).
  • To organise and carry out the service you booked: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To meet tax and accounting obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To measure how our Google Ads perform: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not use your data to send you advertising without your consent, and we never sell it.

4. Who may receive the data

Your data is processed by us and, only as far as necessary, by providers who help us deliver the service:

  • Web3Forms (web3forms.com), the service that receives what you write in the quote form and forwards it to our email inbox;
  • the website hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., Cloudflare Pages service);
  • the email and messaging services we use to reply (Google Gmail, WhatsApp);
  • Google Ads, only if you accept advertising cookies (see section 6);
  • partners needed for your trip (for example partner chauffeurs, boats, ticket offices, restaurants booked for you), with only the essential data;
  • our accountant, for tax obligations.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. In that case the transfer takes place with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

  • Quote requests that do not become a booking: 12 months from the last contact.
  • Booking and service data: for the duration of the relationship and then for the period required by law for tax records (normally 10 years).
  • Technical browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider, normally a few days or weeks.

The website uses two kinds of tools:

  • Technical, always on: the website only remembers in your browser the choice you make on the cookie banner (for 6 months). No consent is needed.
  • Google Ads, only with your consent: if you click “Accept”, we enable the Google Ads tag (provider Google Ireland Ltd.), which records when you contact us on WhatsApp after seeing one of our ads. It helps us measure how our advertising performs. Google may set cookies such as _gcl_au (about 90 days) and process data such as your IP address and the ad click identifier. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google’s policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

If you click “Decline” or close the banner with the X, Google Ads is not loaded. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Fonts and videos are hosted on the website itself. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and Google open those services’ own websites, which apply their own policies.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Just email comoprivatedriver@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
