The tour

Franciacorta is Lombardy’s traditional-method sparkling wine area, in the hills just south of Lake Iseo. At the first winery you see the underground cellars and learn how Franciacorta is made, then taste it. The second winery is a different producer, so you can compare styles and vintages.

Lunch is at a restaurant among the vineyards, with Lombard cooking. In the afternoon you go down to Lake Iseo for a private boat cruise around Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe. We choose the wineries with you when you book.

Many wineries close on Sundays: a weekday or Saturday works best.
The cruise depends on the weather; with rough water we move it or replace it with a walk on the lakefront.
Any wine you buy travels back with you in the car.
